Dental care providers can help in early detection of HIV

This is the title of the July 2 letter to the editor which Helene Bednarsh, Dental Consultant to the ECHO project, published in Bay Windows, New England's largest GLBT newspaper. Together with Michael Goldrosen; Director of HIV/AIDS Services Division, Infectious Disease Bureau, Boston Public Health Commission; Helene encourages rapid HIV testing in dental offices as a way to better connect systems of care and improve the quality of life for everyone in Massachusetts. Helene serves in the Boston Public Health Commission as Director of the HIV Dental Program, HIV/AIDS Services Division.
