This case study is part of the Evaluation Center on HIV and Oral Health Teaching Tools Site. Over one third of people living with HIV experience one or more oral conditions related to their immune-compromised state. Although some oral conditions are less common due to the use of anti-retroviral therapy (ART), there are some oral conditions that have increased with the use of ARTs. This site features actual case studies of dental patients who have received care through the Ryan White Oral Health SPNS initiative showcasing a variety of HIV and dental related problems. Each case includes the actual case report and images related to the case.
