Disability in the Public Health Curriculum

This project is to write a book for faculty, administrators and students at schools of public health on disability in the public health curriculum. The book explores the current treatment of, and potential to enhance coverage of, disability-related issues within the field of public health education.

Specific chapters focus on disability and epidemiology, health services, environmental health, maternal and child health, health law, and international health. The chapters examine research-related issues, teaching materials, the schools as service providers and the schools as accessible institutions.
