Ryan White All Grantees Meeting

On August 26 the PEER Center team convened an institute entitled "Integrating Peers into the HIV Care Team: Options and Structures Designed to Keep HIV+ Clients in Health Care." The institute was composed of three workshops:
  1. Integrating peers into the care team (ID# I-061 Washington 3, Tuesday August 26th from 10-11:30am)
  2. My organization is ready to start a peer support program. Where to begin? (ID# I-062 Washington 3, Tuesday August 26th from 1:30-3pm)
  3. How to develop and maintain an effective peer support program (ID# I-063 Washington 3, Tuesday August 26th from 3:30-5pm)

The team also presented an evaluation workshop entitled "Evaluating HIV peer training: What Knowledge, Skills, and Activities do Peers Exhibit After Training?" ( Wilson C Monday, August 25th from 2:30-4 pm)
