Join the Catalyst Center at the AMCHP 2012 Annual Conference

Wondering what’s new at the Catalyst Center? We have just completed our Public Insurance Programs and Children with Special Health Care Needs: A Tutorial on the Basics of Medicaid and The Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), fondly known as Medicaid/CHIP 101 Tutorial. Feel free to peruse one or all of the sections for a user-friendly overview of Medicaid and CHIP coverage for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN), specially written with Title V MCH staff and family leaders in mind.  

The tutorial also includes information on how Title V and state Medicaid officials can work together to increase the quality and decrease the costs of health care for children with special health care needs. You can get information about the Medicaid/CHIP 101 Tutorial and more at the upcoming AMCHP conference.  

Swing by the Catalyst Center booth (#17) in the exhibit hall to play a Medicaid Jeopardy game or test your knowledge with a Medicaid/CHIP alphabet soup crossword puzzle. The winners will receive prizes (while supplies last). Our booth is also a great place to go to ask TA questions on coverage and financing of care for CYSHCN. We hope to see you there!
