NMAC Peer Training Opportunity

The National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC) has announced the Recruitment and Retention into Care Program, a national training designed to develop, improve and expand comprehensive services targeting communities severely impacted by HIV/AIDS. The goal of the program is to improve access, quality of care and coordination of health care services for people living with HIV/AIDS who are multiply diagnosed, located in or around rural areas and/or racial ethnic minorities.

There are two trainings scheduled:

Memphis, Tennessee: July 29th 2009 – July 31st, 2009
Application deadline: July 6

Los Angeles, California: August 19th 2009 – August 21st 2009
Application deadline: July 24
